ahh the old denbigh mental. I live really close to denbigh, went to high-school there and, of course, half my close friends live there. Anyway, we've been inside and it's a morbid place, you can find old medica lrecords of patients lying around, for example, if they were on suicide watch. Also, some of my frinds relatives worked there with some disturing stories to tell!

the creepiest thing is that it is so well preserved. probably fell or ate something bad.

DR, if you lived across from the cemetary we lived beside you. I remember playing ball in that cemetary too. It's been 20+ years since I've lived there and it just hit me, the road beside the main cemetary was called "ghost road" always over-grown and at night it was scary as hell! I Remember they found a couple of graves dug up back there. The guy Hook man we called "Hook nose". He use to ride his bike everywhere mumbling to himself.
I can remember walking around this hospital when it was open and after it closed. It was scary walking around those halls with patients roaming around and yes hearing screams and moans. I won't say from experiments probably just lost soles waiting to move on. It was very depressing and sad in there. We were the family that always had the "patients" at our house. After it closed whoa, scary doesn't describe it! I don't know how old these photos are but they still capture the essence of this place.

Nope, not TB. It was used for drunks and mental patients. I grew up down the street from it. Actually across the street from the cemetary. My mom was the stewarts assistant so his son and I use to run all over this place.

I cant help but notice the obvious marks on the upper door, on the inside-
Who was trying to claw or scratch their way out? It is almost impossible to imagine that anyone other than someone placed inside these as a possible punishment would care to go to the trouble to scratch or otherwise cause the damage as shown!
