	jaimonkey Reminds me of a pop-corn popper I had back in the eh....70's!!!! Minus the hose, gauges and giant battery of course. Mine had a yellow top and you put slices of butter in the top of it to melt as the thing heated up. YUM!!

	jaimonkey Maybe, since this was a TB hospital at one point it was an intake/output vent. Maybe the room air went up the center of it and was vented out and fresh air was pumped in through the things on the rim. One of those things that makes you go HMMMMMMMM!!!!!
