Actually, KBWS, Silent Hill is a good way of remembering these people. The games show depictions of such atrocities which encourage the people who play them to look into what they are based on.

Most young people today wouldn't have a clue about the institutionalised cruelty of psychiatric facilities - even those of us with psychiatric illnesses often do not experience anything too out there.

Toilet paper holders can be wrenched off the wall, so in many lock down facilities they weren't used. The toilet roll was usually left sitting next to or on the toilet.
