When I was a teenager hanging out on the "Elmwood Strip", we used to walk by this place and as we passed one of the main gates, a spooky, high-pitched noise would pierce our ears. The lore was that it was a dog-whistle type of thing designed to make the crazy crazier. Anyone else have this experience or is this just a bunch of kids talking themselves into scaredsilliness?
