I remember the fire on ward D I was on A but heard it started on a mattress. I thought christina hills was Tina Hill and christina was christina washington. They were both on ward D. Christina I. Heard had a baby from one of the staff. And her sister was on 3east "were ward b was earlier" was taken out of here when they found out in 1991

I think it was john woodier he was on ward A in the last room on the left after the bend, "next to the exhaust fan in the window, across from the back door that lead down to the fenced in area and the classrooms near the wood shop." The first room on the left "after the seclusion rooms and across from the rec room" was audrie and Shawna's room. There was a colored picture in the doorway that said " shawna+john". That's the john I'm talking about. He was a big muscular kid that people were afraid of. When he told me I could go out with shawna I told him I didn't want to because I thought he was trying to find out if I liked his girlfriend, but then I saw the picture off the doorway later. That's the john. If its not woodier what is it.

I would like to find shawna from ward A. She was always a friend to me. I also was on ward A. I liked her a lot and was afraid of her boyfriend john. I remember when they broke up john told me he could hook me up with her, I told him I didn't even like her. I am happily married and have 3 kids but would like to know how she is doing and talk to her again

Seeing this picture and hearing the comments of john and gaebler school girl give me some closure to that part of my life. This let's me see that there are people that have gone through what I've gone through and it helps. As for the picture! It looks now what it felt like then. "Dark, dirty, and forgotten" I use to lay on the floor with my mouth near the bottom of the door, and scream out. I would scream for hours and hours knowing that people could hear me. After 8 or 9 hours shawna or audrie would yell from there room and I would stop. I don't know why I stopped, maybe because I knew then that there were kids out there that were here with me and I wasn't alone. For some reason shawna's "from ward A" talking to me in the rec room always helped me a lot. I keep looking at this picture every day and I read the words people wrote and I just feel better inside. I don't know how we all made it through this but we did. Maybe it's because this was just a part of normal life to all of us. And that's how we lived. Some day we'll all get together as a reunion or something like that. But till then this sight will be great. Keep adding comments. And thank you all.

Dana Daron my name is dennis bunting I lived there twice. John knows the place well, I was on ward A and later B then called 3 EAST. I was there 1987-1991. Live not far and go there to see the place some times. I can explain the metal beds for restraints and the room john talks about on the second floor with the pingpong table. It was a restraint room when I was there with five restraint beds. I would love to meet up with you any time to go over the places john is talking about. Near the end the wards were changed to 3 east ect. I think the younger kids were on ward B, third floor right. Then that became my 3 east. I used to be on ward A ,second floor left. With the beautiful shawna wood and audrie lombard. I was always afraid of her boyfriend john woodier down the hall. I'm looking for some of my old friends from there. Brooks Bailey, Sean Brooks, christie Washington, the blond short girl on 3 EAST we called smurfette "from the smurfs", Tyrone who always had to have the O 66 on the bingo cards. Scott Landry, the spitting Sean Hayze. And to all you people wondering! This place was very sad even though I made it out alright, I know many of kids just broke down and so mentally messed up by the time they left, I just want to reach out to them and say that we missed the childhood of our life and I hope they hae made it past that. I like to look at these pictures to remember all my friends that stuck through with me. We needed eachother and it helped. I have a nice family and my own business, and I do great but miss some feelings of "I don't even know what to call it" you just block out most feelings of love, compassion,
