I grew up in Gary back in the 50's and 60's, and can remember going to a wedding at this church. I was lucky to see it in its glory days.

Just happened upon this site, and found the glorious photos of REALLY good ol' Made-in-USA equipment. I used to be a projectinist with this kind of equipment (exactly the same, in fact) and it brings back memories of pleasant times and better movies.
But, at the same time, looking at the pictures of the empty and run-down theater, these machines look rather lonely, as if waiting for someone to come along and start them up again. I see they even have a few sets of carbon arc rods ready in their boxes, waiting for someone to use them.....

I have a seiman's unit which I believe is a dental xray.It is about 12 in. in diameter and is in a wood covered old looking fitted box..

is this really haunted? Cause dang I can really tell this place is really creepy and I think that the blood bath pictire is pretty gross is that really blood and stuff comin out of the tray? Cause that is really crazy yet i think that ii is really awesome so keep postin cause these picture are really awesome in a creepy and scary way!

peeling paint from water damage. institution green paint. i hate that color, something about it is so depressing and hopeless to me, cold, sterile, lifeless. Yet, this photo is beautiful. It's amazing how much beauty is hidden inside ugliness, or just the idea of the mystery.

Or is that plaster? In which case, I retract my previous statement as I am an ignorant goof.
