Cool a Michigan one....its sad that this building was left to rot away. What a total waste. If only when it closed in '88 they had started to refurbish it than.....but after all these yrs left to waste.....look how much it would cost to put it to use....still with that said its still sad & a waste. The documentary you posted Motts was great.....I didn't get to go to the station when it was in use....not that I've ever been in it. I leave that to people like you Motts.....thanks for the pictures. Hope you have more Michigan places sometime......now on to the gallery.......

The picture before this was creepy but the words are even creepier.....interesting & strange all at the sametime.

Yeah that ivy can be destructive though. Its not good when its on a building or home thats in use really. Its strange how the land just takes over these unused places isn't it.....Great pic Motts!!! : )

With the way those light above are positioned I don't think they'd give that much light. Of course the windows help but still at night it would be dark there. Scary. Oc course I'm talking back in the day.....now it would be totally dark.....the tagging is sad though.....

Yeah thats one large support bean isn't it. Its really nice....to bad all the graffiti artists had to tag it all up huh....what a total shame......

Personally, I think those curtains are kinda scary looking. All the peeling paint too.......but this is what happens when buildings are left to there own....they fall apart......how sad......

I agree with others here......with your amazing pictures you take us to many, many places in the USA & all over the world that most of us would probably not go to.....so I also thank you.....got many galleries to look at.....this is gonna take sometime.....I have my pop/& water as well......now on to the galleries. They've done alot of tagging on this place haven't they.....what a shame......

At first I thought it was a laundry room but after reading all of the discussion I can see how it could be stalls & toilets.....interesting picture though.....

The (2) shows I saw this on was Ghost Adventures (travel Ch) & extreme paranormal. I don't think Ghost Hunters has been to Penn State Hosp/school. Anyway, I thought Motts had taken pictures here & even though I've looked at many of his pics through these yrs it takes sometime to go through all of these galleries. People were treated so horrible at these places. Its hard to hear all about this stuff. Its just wrong. There maybe some people that do need to be watched but not treated like animals. Heck the prison population is probably treated better than all these patients in these old asylums. Like someone else mentioned animals are treated better. Its sad that these buildings are left to rot....some should be preserved if nothing to show how horribly these patients were treated. If we don't remember what we did wrong in the 'past' than we are doomed to repeat it all over again. Lets not forget that......Just some very deep thoughts tonight........Thanks Motts.

Now this ceiling is amazing....Just think of all the time it took to do that ceiling...the mold on the columns is gross but the colors together are wonderful to see......interesting space & great pic as always , Motts!!!

Yeah, I was thinking it was for plants with the lights underneath it. Not sure about the rug though. Seems like an odd place for a nice rug....just some thoughts.....
