	Abby I love these pokey little nooks and crannies in these old buildings. I don't even know why they appeal to me so much, but I just feel something in them tug at me somehow. Wonderful.

	Abby That's such a beautiful doorway. It makes me sad that we see so few examples of such pretty internal architecture in modern buildings - in the old days they took such pride in building beautiful things, and by comparison I find modern buildings so ugly. It's like modern builders just don't take any interest in creating beautiful structures most of the time. So sad.

	Abby Note that Motts says the murals were stabilized. This means that a substance was either put over or injected into the existing paint to keep it from further deterioration. It works like a glue. It is time consuming and expensive to do so it was probably only done to the mural
