Yes, Dixmont dose have a lot of windows, and allows a vast amount of sunlight in during the day.
No doubt it was sadly dark for many.

This a beautiful shot, I have walked this hall way many time in the past 2 weeks.
It also is one of the ones with less derbies in it.

I love hall shots like this. It really makes the mind think and wander about what went on there.

From the looks of it, it looks like you could fall off of it easily if you make a wrong move.

The horse power rating is defiantly in the 1,000 to 3,000 range. From the tugs I have been on and some of the engines I have hauled I would say it is most likely around 1,300. Most older tugs were in that range.
