I have a friend that is a mortician, and he took me to the school he taught at one time. That hose could be piece of hardware that they put into one of your major arteries much like an IV and pump in the embalming fluid.

It would seem odd if this were for examination purposes that all those lights would be angled outward. Reminds me of a setup for a curcular buffet with the central exhaust, and the lights set to shine down on the food. Of course I cannot imagine them having a buffet at a TB hospital.

Broken Chair

What I can't seem to figure out is that second dowel rod on the left side of the chair. All the rest have one rod, that seems to have two. I assume it split length wise somehow. It just looks odd, cannot tell exactly from this angle.
