tom Thanks for the pix that I couldn`t take.....The new Studebaker Museum is on Chapin st.now.....Alot of homeless people and scrappers used to live in these buildings.A couple were killed over scrap metal.By the way ...Anyone check out the old Union Station....A friend used to sneak in there ,Before the restaurant was put in ,and there were old cars in the basement....TheMain floor had a hole in it and some concrete was lying on them.....Not sure if they got them out or not before they revamped it for the restaurant.??????

	tom Wow ,I live around here and i never explored any of the buildings. most are gone now .Dad and my uncle both worked at studebaker,I used to deliver parts to" allied stamping" back in the 70s when it was still in use and A.M.General off chippewa blvd,which built the army trucks(in the 70s)......

tom Back in the early 80's we played music there with a local dance band. It was amazing to see how music instantly affected the "clients". Within seconds everyone was dancing and whirling and having the greatest time! I remember one young fellow screaming in my face "PLAY JINGLE BELL ROCK, NOW!" So we did. I think it was July. We did a few gigs at the school before it completely closed down. I'd do it again in a second.

	Tom I have a national cash register put into service in 1912 according to the sticker on the bottom of the droor I bet there was a sticker on this one too! Too bad you did not look. LOL my cash register only rings up to a dollar.

	Tom Organs were not easily made back then to they did not stamp the pipes they actualy had to form each one. I heard this on the TV show dirty jobs lol. He had to clean out the dust from organ pipes.
