Chicks were used for testing varius drugs antibiotics etc...sure look like they would be used for something of that nature...the very kind of metal..that galvanized and regular steel look more agricultural. Stainless steal would have been used at the very least a porcelin coated steal for anything that was to be steralized. An HVAC application seems unlikely because of the structures size any filtration units would be much larger

HydroTherapy was in no way warm water. It was ice cold designed to shock the paitents, for what purpose I do not know, I'm just a mechanic. But I do know for a fact it was not plesant.

for those of you not familiar with Staten Island. The "boneyard" as we know it lies just south of the now closed Fresh Kills landfill, which at one time was the larges landfill in the world. The ships were here before the landfill....I just think it is an interesting coincidence that they lie so close to each other...and you can't see most of the ships because there is a huge junkyard with steel fencing blocking the view. On a happier note..over the past few years Ospreys have been using the ships in the boneyard as nesting sites.

I think crime is more the word considering how much any one structure could help so many people and create jobs.

most likely the answer but its also the air is so still that the cold seems to radiate above and around the tub its a stranger then strange feeling once your in those surroundings.

I think every building technically has a basement but 1 i know for sure has somewhat of a tunnel system its the building right near the power plant, there are 3 in my memory its the building furthest to the west. Now thats creepy down there all you can see are rows of concrete collums going out of sight and strange dripping and creeking sounds i didnt get far down there i plan to go back with string or something to find my way out.

Sammy I sat in the tub to and your right I felt the difference in heat to that is some really weird stuff I figured it was in my head.

No bodies went in the top row it only held the refridgeration stuff and blew downwards over the bodies below, so I've read but I saw sliding tables up there so I honestly dont know maybe they had some ladder system I can't say for sure.

No the table isn't painted either it's just lost the luster it had over years I cleaned a spot off but it wont shine without some cleaner or something.

Believe it or not that x-ray machine still moves in all directions like it was brand new I couldn't belive it till i tried it.

I think it might have been more then an eye sore the inside of the 2 towers remaining is just full of metal poles and what looks like scafolding and a few chunks of steps left behind they might have took the stacks off before they gutted the inside of the towers to for saftey. I was actually parked right in front there in the third open area from the right nobody can see your car there but you'll need a look out.

I went 3 days ago and the autopsy room is on the basement level though its actually ground level you can get to the other side of those body cabinets or whatever they are called is another room with those same doors but no table that room actually has its own entrance and you just go through the hall way to the autopsy side and watch out there is a sink and counter in the way now and its kinda sharp keep your eyes open.

I was in the main hospital just this past sunday the 4th of september 05 and I can almost with no doubt say there are no evil spirits or anything just imaginations at work i spent about 3 hours video taping the whole building, and they got a serious bat infestation now in the rafters somewhere i couldnt find them but theyre real.

Can they really shoot a film there? Great spot for a porno
