All I know is those horror rides have some pretty out there themes and scenes in them. No wonder so many people from my generation have mental health issues requiring medications. I was a perfectly normal kid before I saw a woman in a black dress chained to the wall beaten and cut up in a fun house waiting for god knows what fate to befall her.

Funny story.

In one of these rides I actually struck one of the "live action" guys who they would regularly have come and hassle your car as you rode through for added fright factor. I was with my girlfriend (now wife) and he was horrified, and they just kept at it despite my asking them to back off multiple times. I am not a violent person at all, but he was actually on the front of the car we were in, and something about her being afraid, the noise of the "fun house", and the scenes all around me must have just triggered a fight or flight reaction.

I had a major confrontation with the carnies outside the ride when it was over.

Not a pretty date to say the least.

I think shots that capture motion in time are excellent, and of course a genre unto itself. You did a fine job.

You can recreate it but that moment will never exist again.

I am a big fan of respecting the site, and respecting the explorers who will come after you. Nothing like walking into a place like this and finding something amazing. You know that feeling you get when you find it? Why steal the object and thus that feeling from the next explorer?

You are a tagger right? taggers have a code. You do not mess with another guys tag. You respect it. How is it you can be a tagger, and an explorer and have no respect for the groups you claim to be a part of through your words and deeds?

Come on man, seriously. Just leave these places intact. Leave the graffiti for the kids. In a sense in my opinion you are no better than a vandal who smashes the windows because you are destroying something.

Is graffiti an art? To some sure, but you are working on a canvass that we all own and frankly I think we owe it to EACH OTHER to keep it clean. Because in THIS case the canvas is much more beautiful than any work of art you could place on top of it.

Many adults do not want to be pitied, and many may not want our help. I think what some of you vocal types are forgetting here is the context. Most of the references here are about children, disabled children. Who in fact DO need us to look after them. Especially those in a place that was well known for poor conditions.

Please throw your soap box out and come down here wit the rest of us, the air is "thicker".

Well, seems far too random to be "god", and far too mathematically correct to be nature. I have to assume it was just a person that did it. Could I be wrong? Certainly, we are all just guessing and no one is more right than the other.

Sadly water makes decay happen a lot faster, I wish that three was a way to slow the process down. While I love to see nature do it's thing, it is always sad when a place like this finally falls.

Oval

Thorn

First it is an excellent shot, I love it. Great composition. It tells a story, which to me is required in any still imagery to make it a really good one. Motts does this easily in many of hiss shots by using inanimate objects like a "lonely chair". And so on.

Beyond that, yes I dos see what could be interpreted as a face in the rafters . It is above the oval mirror, and then above the smaller sideways oval slightly to the right of the dividing beam. It appears it is made up mainly of the lines in the bricks and the light. Very interesting looking though.

Another great shot, and this is one that should be recreated in a horror film in my opinion. It feels like impending danger waits around the corner at the top of the stairs even though their is light just ahead.. so close.
