I am a labor and delivery nurse and you get to see ALOT of funky stuff like this. I work nights at a small hospital. Sometimes you have to go to pathology with a specimen, such as a placenta or even a fetus. Well, the pathology fridge is actually a regular old Fridgidaire. Sometimes you have to move specimens around to make room for yours. My colleague had warned me that there could be an arm or leg in there wrapped in plastic that I would have to move.

pathology refrigerators are very interesting places. Especially at night when you have to bring a specimen down to the lab and you open it and there is an appendage wrapped in plastic that you have to move to make room for your specimen.

They don't really use scalpels like this anymore. There is a handle which is sterilized and reused. The blade is disposible.

Morgues are creepy to begin with, but there is just something about this on that is EXTRA creepy

It's called a hopper sink. It's really a toilet and sink all in one. We empty bedpans or urinary catheters into them. It allows you to rinse out the bedpan or whatever container you are using. Most hospitals have them.
