No, the meds would have stayed locked up until time to dispense them. That was probably the drawer where they kept the meds for the people on the ward.

People break into abandoned buildings and snoop around, take drugs, have sex, play with things they find - like fire hoses. Probably someone wanted to see just how far it would go. That would be an interesting experiment. Would the hose reach all the way into the last room? If not, why not? Who or what was in the room that was considered expendable?

I have no doubt this was written by staff. You have to remember that people who work as caregivers in this field are paid next to nothing. Often a high school diploma is not required.
