Yeah, my OCD made me clean! :D So much dirt, so little time...

Morgue

Sketch

And by the way, writing your name on a wall generally isn't considered art. Paint a picture, that's art. Writing a name just proves that you aren't entirely illiterate.

Morgue

Sketch

For me it doesn't even matter if someone died there or not. What is important (to me) is that you don't ruin something that doesn't belong to you. If I spray painted my house, that would be ok, because it is mine, and I have to deal with it. If I spray painted someone elses house, that would be wrong, because it isn't mine. Didn't their parents teach them that when they were young?

Pool Table

Sketch

Keep in mind that these are government run facilities. Usually it is cheaper for them to buy new than to move something, and I doubt it even occurs to them to auction these things off & recoup some of the cost.

Try this one:

I highlighted the areas around what I'm seeing. Does anyone see it now? (No comments on the crappy art job, I had to use a mouse!)

Yeah, they really are foul beasts. I have a few living on my porch, and I am constantly amazed by how much they can poop! Ugh....

What happened to the ceiling tiles here? I don't see them rotting away on the floor...

Safety Chair

Sketch

Poor chair probably went crazy trying to escape the locked hallway! Any idea why these doors were locked? Obviously you could get to both doors, so they weren't really keeping you out of anything...

Dish Washer Side

Sketch

This looks like one I worked with when I was younger. There would be a power washer at the beginning to get off the chunks and to get the dishes somewhat clean. They would be loaded into a tub and pushed into this machine. It immersed them in soapy boiling water for a few minutes, then it would drain & steam them for a few minutes more. They came out the other end hotter enough to burn you, but clean enough to see your reflection in the plates. Don't let those ducts fool you either, the dish room was always hotter than hell! Ah, the memories of the heatstroke...

I'd love it even more if I got tied to a bed... :D

What is the scale of this? If those are fingerprints, then it must be a lot smaller than it looks!

See You Dying

Sketch

Could be part of lyrics? Here's a song by OminousNJ that uses it. Some of their songs really suck, but some of them seem pretty good.

THE SLEEPER

Take This Life
Throw It Away
I can feel You
Take This Smile
Throw It Away
I can Feel You

I know The Pain
I can See You Dying
I know Your Hate
I can see your Dreaming
Falling Into Your Faithfulness in Dying
Your Love Your Hate
Falling Dreams Are Crying

Hate Your Love
Hate Your Lies
Hate everything from inside
Hate Your Love
Hate your Lies
Everything from Inside

I see the Pain
In Your Eyes
Tell Me Why
We Must Die------

Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry
Cry

Wow, it looks like a charcoal drawing! You have an amazing eye!

Over The Edge

Sketch

Yeah, walking on glass, no matter how thick it is, does not sound like a good idea! It would really hurt if one of those broke out from underneath you!!!

Sadly, you aren't the first person to tell me this... today... :( 10 minutes until I can take my next happy Sketch pill! :D

Stripped

Sketch

Look at how the ceiling meets the wall... The ceiling isn't actually flat (even though it looks that way) it's arched.

Rusty Door

Sketch

Ok, everyone always says what they see in a picture, so now it's my turn. On the door, it looks like a person waving you in. The head is under the window, slightly to the right. It even looks like it has a text bubble that says "Peace" right above the head. Anyone else see this?

Crescent Window

Sketch

Clean it up a little bit, and I'd live there. Around here you wouldn't even have to clean too much, just make sure the structure was sound, and people would pay $800+/month to live there!

Otis Lube

It made me think some very wrong things too, but I bet you went a totally different direction than me...

Bathroom

Sketch

But if this is for someone in a wheelchair, how would they reach above the mirror for soap? That's just cruel...

So you can see where you're walking! I would imagine that at some point, someone who came in this room turned them on & forgot to turn them off...

Broken Cabinets

Sketch

I'll translate, I'm a doctor:
Great heavens! When you look at the photographs from this excursion at the beginning of the year there is a low quantity of damage done by ruffians to the morgue region. Compare this to currently, when there is a copious amount of damage done by these vandals! You cannot observe an area without it!

Privacy Curtain

Sketch

I just gotta say... Duct tape clothes are great until you have to take them off. Oh, the pain... It took over a year to grow all my hair back! Wait, what? You aren't supposed to tape them to yourself? Why didn't someone tell me that sooner....

White Hall

Sketch

Ok, now when I think "Asylum", this is what I think. Bright, stark white walls with long hallways. Not these calming colors that we've been seeing. I know that the image in my head doesn't match up with the reality, but that doesn't change it any...

Cupola

Sketch

First on-topic comment!

Did they clean them out when this was in operation? I would imagine you wouldn't want something that flammable just SITTING on top of your buildings! Such a dangerous fire hazard... Was there a reason they built them like this? I would think you could build vent differently so they wouldn't clog up...
