Hey, speaking of House on Haunted Hill; anyone know where that place is? Is it a real building? That place was huge.

Sianaby I agree with you totally...that movie was scary as hell. The first time I watched it, and saw that head-shaking thing in the basement (through the camera lens), it startled me so bad I screamed out loud! This pic captures the same kinda feeling...<shudder>

Overgrown

Hey Motts, was the Old Woman in the Shoe slide still there? How about the creepy looking gingerbread men? Man, I'm gonna have to take a little trip out here soon & see what I can find (and also if I can manage to find a way in here without getting arrested!).

I can remember feeding ducks here (at least I think it was here!).

Lighthouse

Wow, I didn't know the whale had something in it! I actually have a picture of me (age 4) and my brother (7 mos. old or so) sitting in the mouth of the whale, but I don't remember actually seeing anything in it's throat. Maybe we just didn't think to look! I remember there being swings near the lake as well.

I remember these windows. At the front of the park, I remember a path going up a hill. There were small little fairytale cottages along the way that you could look through the windows and see characters, but not enter. Those would creep me out for some reason! My brother and I used to love this place though.

Teacup Ride

Sara B.

Oh man, I used to hate this ride! I used to get so dizzy. If I remember correctly, these were painted pink (I could be wrong...haven't been to E.F. since 1986, right before it closed!). My favorite ride here was the boat ride, and the Snow White boat ride. You'd go into a tunnel on a log boat and see the dwarves working in their mine. It was really cool when you're 5 years old! I'd go on it 2 or 3 times in a row and once before we left the park. I hope they restore it eventually, I'd love to go back.
