The "u" prefix is surprising for an ex-Soviet sub. There's an original U-boat on the shore, not that far away, actually, in museum static display.

The gate is most likely original (minus an eagle or a swastika). That design is similar to other gates fronting former Nazi properties and installations in both eastern and western Europe.
