When I went to Wilkes University, I lived in an apartment on the 6th floor on the corner shown in this photo. It was close to school and certainly inexpensive. However, the smell of urine, trash, and mold made it difficult to breath at times. The penthouse suite would have been beautiful in its time. I was able to venture down in the basement and also the annex building, but never for too long or alone. The lobby must have been beautiful, even in its deteriorated state it was impressive!
