I love old theaters.

My friend and his wife are stained glass artists. They also do restoration. They would crap twice and die to see this left to its fate.

These towers remind me of the most modern building on North Brother Island.

Davis AFB in Tucson AZ has a large aircraft graveyard. They used to have tours, I took it in 97. I think that may no longer be the case after 9/11. You can get a good view with Google Maps.

More than once I have taken a novice urban explorer into a place and had the floor groan or sag alarmingly beneath me. Once my foot went through a floor. So much for apearing like an expert.

I think this is the Mourge in Bacchus or the "Old Hospital" When my parents worked in Letchworth I was with them when they had to stop by there one time on a day off. Though my mother worked in the "New Hospital", she had to see some friends in the "Old" one. This mourge was no longer used as such, and had become a break room. It was very creepy to a 15 year old to eat food there. One of my less thrilling adolescent memories. I was with a friend also 15 as well. We got a case of nervous laughter. My 'rents thought we where just being silly. They didnt realize we were so creaped out.

Ahhhhhhh, Banerman's. One of the "Holy Grail" abandoned sites. I plan to take the tour next Saturday. It will be worth the money. Thank you for this appetizer, Mr. Motts!
