Rich It's iron sheathing on a wooden hull. I wonder if it's a ferry and the iron plates were to protect the bow from repeated impacts at the dock. The big low rubbing strakes on the side also make me think ferry.

	Rich I don't know, but it's VERY OLD. that style of bow went out of fashion before WW2. Also note the riveted plates, as opposed to the welded plates on the post WW2 wrecks.

	Rich Actually, the rust line is far above the waterline and looks like it follows the sheerline of the ship. I'm inclined to think the fire theory may be right. The heat of a fire not only removes paint, but kickstarts the oxidation process.

rich i think this was a hospitol that tried to save people on a boat that was on fire cause a hosptiol was used as a holiding site for the dead bodies and to help survivors i forget the name of the boat but it was on the history channel like a year ago but it was intersting cause it had to deal with a hospitol that was secluded im not sure if it was this one or if there are many othere hospitols around like it fromt he time period......i will have to look into this much more

	rich that tree just right of the loading dock me and my friend both fell out of it my friend got hurt worse he had the tree puncture his arm he just stopped the psychila thereapy last week and i disloacted my shoulder and pulled a muscle its a bithc to get into that buidling but the view is well worth it :)

	Rich tis was very tipical to houses built in the 1800`s and 1900`s this was rpobably part of the house and was used by the children due to the fact that the houses were built with space in mind for the older adults with little regards to children so the stairways and hall ways in this part must be very small to a person used to wide hallways......
