Patient X Certainly there were times when violently psychotic patients really needed to be restrained though I saw nurses acting out and creating false incidents so they could assert their power over the powerless patients who "asked too many questions." And don't forget most of the patients put in restraints also recieved chemical restraint injections of Haldol, Prolixen, Thorazine etc. Fun times!!! Not!

	Patient X At Met State nurses would routinely put patients in seclusion for ridiculous random reasons though they would sometimes let me hang out in "the quiet room" when things got too crazy on the ward.

	Patient X Actually this was a "3/4 ward" where folks could do their own laundry, cook their own food and come and go fairly freely compared to most other more restrictive wards at "the Met."

	Patient X Lynne and CSA, With all due respect and without a doubt most of the folks who work in mental health facilities give a damn, but y'all did NOT know the cesspool that was Met State. Sure, there were some caring folks that worked there, but there also were psychotic psychiatrists, mental health workers who ripped off the patients and worse, much, much worse.

	Patient X A patient from nearby private county club Mclean/"Mcmed" psychiatric hospital escaped in the late 80's and had the misfortune of wandering onto the Met State grounds. They held her at Met State temporarily and when she got back to Mclean she said "you know, this place isn't all that bad."
