If anyone says that the people at the Ladd School had any quality care the only person they're fooling is themself. What happened at the Ladd School was atrocious and the group homes of Rhode Island are littered with the people held there. And Lynne I've known people who have worked in neonatology for decades. They by all means have been using anesthesia on infants since before the 1980s. They just used a lot less of it than they do now. When that article says deep anesthesia they're referring to the now preferred high dose.
