Those columns look similar to the ones in the main line stations at Waterloo and Victoria in London. Just on a smaller scale. Interesting they were in a chapel, they feel a bit out of place.

If the hospital was built in the 1800's I doubt very much thats the same kind of needle they used then. They used syringes which were more metal. That looks like a syringe a doctor would use, in the last 5 years or so. So most likely Junkie. It was left in a relevant building though, I give them that!
