Claustrophobia

MedicSpanker

I know not about agitating, but it certainly is nauseating! at least to me...

Medical Equipment

MedicSpanker

Thank God that our respirators these days are much smaller. I would never be able to fit that beast on the ambulance!

Seclusion Room #3

MedicSpanker

Many, MANY, and I do mean MANY years ago I was an inpatient at a facility for troubled teens. We did have a seclusion room, but it was so rarely used as to be almost obsolete. I never got put in there myself.

Creep

MedicSpanker

I remember running on a call in an old mental hospital here, for a paintballer who had fallen and broken his leg. The major issue was, of course, the Sheriff's Dept. K-9 was still on the loose so we couldn't get in to get the dumbass. By the time we got into him, he had a couple of bite marks to add to his shattered tibia. Thats the price one pays for high adventure, I suppose.

Sinking

MedicSpanker

Once again, first in 2 years, so no one is probably going to read this, but I gotta say, Nothing ventured nothing gained! Motts, do be careful but keep at it! We all end up in one of those coolers you are so fond of shooting anyway, so may as well go out doing what you love!

Do These

MedicSpanker

Wow, the perspective on this makes it an amazing photo. My mind is mush trying to wrap around it.

Although, when you think about it, perhaps Graffiti is just another part of the general decay of an abandoned place. I think people really object because it reminds them that others have been there before they came through. And everyone has a certain Star Trek Mentality.. "To boldly go where no man has gone before.." kind of thing. Yes?

meant hall not head. I have to go to the head (old Marine phraseology).

Tank

put it on its side with the bottom pointed down a long head and knock the valve off with a hammer. Should be fun.

Grey

MedicSpanker

I don't care what it says, or why whoever put it there put it there. Whomever did it is a waste of oxygen, with only the intelligence God gave the common muskrat.

all the graffiti is just appalling. Its disgusting. People have no respect for anything other than their own selfish desires. Its sad. We're a society of 10 year old children. little more than monkeys with car keys.

The Black Ward

Steve D may be on to something, However, I've been to and seen a LOT of hospitals in my time, and I've NEVER seen a room painted or tiled in black. intriguing to say the least.

Lord knows I've attended (read:slept through) many a histology and microbiology lecture in a very similar lecture hall... I'd almost guarantee that is what we are looking at.

Vast

MedicSpanker

Since it had a viewing area, it was more likely a full blown surgery suite than a specialized OB/GYN suite. As some others have pointed out, there aren't many women who enjoy having their birth experience (to include their delicate lady parts) exposed to the entire world.

Pepsi

MedicSpanker

The ambulance company I work for has a vending machine in the ambulance bay where you can get a can of soda for 35 cents. Its a perk of the job, I guess, Because I'm pretty sure they pay more for the soda then 35 cents.

Huh... makes you wonder... what will become of my stuff when I die? And when will people stop visiting my grave? At what point does a person truly become forgotten?

Clown Picture

MedicSpanker

Personally, the second I saw a clown I would have run screaming out of the building (right into the waiting arms of Security, no doubt, but that's okay, if they could save me from the evil clown!)
