I was born and raised on Pooley St. about a 15 minute walk from the Asylum. We used to play on the grounds all the time as kids. We ALWAYS had an eye on the windows, feeling like we were being watched. It scary and beautiful at the same time. I don't know if I would ever go in there...not alone at least.
