You have no idea the thoughts and reflections that you have caused me to have after seeing your photos of "The Laurals" Cherry Knowle Hospital. I trained as a psychiatric nurse at this hospital and looking at your photos remined me of many staff and patients who walked these corridors. If filled me with great sadness to see its state, but things have moved on. It is easy to look back in judgement of the past and fail to see the great goodness that was given and recieved in these places in times gone by.
