katie Green was a popular choice. Surgeons first added “spinach-leaf green” to their clothing in 1914 to reduce glare from traditional hospital whites. In the 1930s, hospital decorators used green to influence patient moods. It carried associations with nature, growth and recovery. Tiled surgical suites, patient rooms, clothing and instruments all went green in the post World War Two era.

	katie Silver....so they would pad the outside of the doors as a way to keep whats going on inside the rooms private from the waiting rooms......why not just have a thicker door? i guess not having padded rooms whilst seeing a doctor would bring some comfort to the patients heh

	katie like seeing as how the womans face is the same in every drawing.....what made the artist portray the same woman.....in so many different dark ways? the woman had to have been someone they knew at some point perhaps.

	katie polio, tuberculosis, typhoid fever, smallpox, and scarlet fever were prominant back then, whole wards in hospitals were built just for the treatment of these diseases, perhaps that was the thought process here.....building a room to contain someone if they had come down with something that couldnt be treated right away until a doctor came along, to help protect the other students?

	katie ive been to this greenhouse, or at least the outer part of it because it is fenced off to prevent people from going in and being hurt by any falling glass.....i did however notice on numerous occasions (as ive been to this areamany times before) that in that fence.....is a hole.....and ive always wondered if that hole was mad by you

	katie to a much earlier post....this was OBVIOUSLY written on the walls after the building was closed, im pretty sure if it was otherwise, it would have been painted over by the custodial staff to prevent patients from getting scared by it.

	katie getting to the top of the cube is hard, but its very very possible. i couldnt really go up all the way, my fear of heights really started to get to me, but if ure strong enough to hold yourselfup for a bit you can get to the top of the cube.

	katie i have this same photograph that i took the day i was there. i went all the way to the very top of the building, as high as u can go i believe. that long stretch of roofing? very unstable in the middle. i ran across it twice. once to get into this building, and next to get back to where we were and to run away from a cop lol
