The Morning

Kassie

Well, Motts, I think you should publish a book too. I know that I would cherish such an item, forever.
As for money, if you don't feel like asking for it, what's saying we can't have a garage sale of sorts?
You know, all of us who support you, start up an e-bay account under all of us, and have all the money go to you, and we would send what we sold?
Pictures like these are worth sharing with the world. And I'd buy a couple of copies to give us special gifts. I know people who would love your photos.

Number Forty Faces the Darkness

Kassie

Wow, I adore this shot, and I love your caption for it as well, it's just awe inspiring.

Interrogation

Kassie

I was thinking the exact same thing.
Methinks that they should use this room as an interrogation room on CSI instead of the ones that they do use. It might have a higher success rate, methinks.

Patient Tunnel

Kassie

That is a particularily eerie picture, and it almost looks as if there is a dark figure on the left, which fades off towards the floor.
Very, very nice, indeed.

Candy Cane Dungeon

Kassie

Wow, I absolutely love this shot, the intermingling of innocence, and corruption.
That wheelchair almost looks scared, as if it's hiding, don't you think so?

Pinecones

Kassie

I agree with J.
I don't think a "God" had anything to do with this arrangement, persay, as much as MaDMaN's preposal of how it happened (which was a very clever one at that. He gets my applause.)
No matter how it was made, it's still quite interesting, and to me, it almost seems impossible, even if MaDMaN's explaination is true. It just looks really set up, but if it is natural...then oh my heck.
Nature is a very amazing thing.

Doll

Kassie

It does look like it's creeping down the stairs, doesn't it?

Parting Message

Kassie

Wow, that is pretty eerie, it's so friendly and then...not so much so.

Rotunda

Kassie

That is just amazingly breath taking. I wonder what it was used for? Perhaps dinners for special occasions such as Christmas?

Building Layout

Kassie

It sort of looks like a bird if you look at it upside down, kind of like a seagull.
The wing span-ish areas wouldn't be easy to get lost in, I don't suppose, but the body-ish part would get me all confused and turned around, methinks.

Another Chair in Window

Kassie

I really like that angle for the picture! It makes it even more disorienting!

Sin Corridor

Kassie

"The dead seek out sin."
- Silent Hill

Nice shot, I really like it. It seems kind of sinister, indeed.

Reflections of Loneliness

Kassie

And I can see why too! The title really fits it. As soon as I saw this shot, I couldn't think of anything to say, except beautiful! It's really a breathtaking shot.

Waiting By The Sink

Kassie

Good point, Sven-Erik...I always wonder about that, how these randomly dispersed wheelchairs just get there. It's quite odd, kind of haunting to think of.

Lone Wheelchair

Kassie

Oh, I absolutely love that shot. It's so lonely, but I love how the wheelchair is highlighted by the natural light. To me, that signifies the hopes and dreams of the patients, during a very hard part of their lives.

Waiting By The Sink

Kassie

I don't know why, but that shot just looks so serene, and beautiful, and it also holds a very Session 9-esque look.

Broken Picture

Kassie

I agree with Sheila.
Not to mention that picture is of probably what people would relate to as a home type vision.
It only stands to make the statement, "This place is a broken home."

Smiley

Kassie

Beware....Smiley is watching you.

Odd Shaped Hall

Kassie

Wow, that hall is quite peculiar...I wonder what the original builder's intent was? Perhaps he created that design for when it was abandoned, so that it gavethe effect that something just wasn't quite right.
Either way though, great shot.
Methinks it'd be hard to hand picture frames on that wall though.

Lone Chair

Kassie

The lone chair is very Session 9 -esque, I love it. It always makes me wonder, if the place was abandoned, why do these chairs end up empty and randomly somewhere?
