	K Mr X , I am also a tradesman..... In this area. I can't even fathom the images, surroundings and situations you must of had been forced to tolerate and deal with mentally in this god forsaken place. I have been to pennhurst after it closed. This place makes your guts churn when it's unoccupied. Nothing good happened here.

	K Not that I want to burst your bubble, but when living beings die, they begin to lose moisture and rot. At some point during the process, the skin and tissues recede, which is why people used to believe that hair and nails and teeth grew after death, because they actually just became more visible.

	K Fantastic pictures. I've seen Ladd School, but only in the dark. it was refreshing to see it from someone else's point of view. it's too bad you couldn't have caught other buildings on film like gym which was probably the creepiest building before they tore it down. Very nice work.

	K How long ago were these pictures taken? They are very good but these buildings look like they are in much better condition than when I was there 2 years ago. When I went in the fogarty building it looked and felt like it would fall down on our heads any minute.

	K I grew up in the area and used to go a lot around 1995. I never knew the history of until now (thanks to the www!). Everything looked so differnt, I though I was in the wrong place because of the widening of the rodes and the new houses in the area. There is a website that tells what the state is planning on doing with land. A hearing was held in May.

	K This is grafitti left by a movie company that rented the space after the state closed the facility. It was a small independent film called "Zoo". They were allowed to use the space and left a mess in several locations - this is what ruins it for others.
