	Junkyardave Spikes on the jar? I'm guessing you mean the facemask in the center of the picture; The green spikes are part of the replaceable rubber face seal; They push through the "clear" part of the mask to hold it in place.

	Junkyardave Back when these places were still in operation, the mentally ill were, for the most part, forgotten.......written off by society. Although there were many cases of neglect & mistreatment, this sticker reminds us that some staff members actually cared for the patients.
