Joseph

The very first thing to pop onto my head is how intimidating this room looks. I would start looking for another washroom.

In Memoriam

Joseph

It is too bad that someone has defaced the Coat of Arms and the face on the plaque.

Does any know what the symbol on the Coat of Arms means ?

Stronghold

Joseph

A small castle perched up high.

I have traveled the world over in the course of my Military duties and I have seen too much poverty. I just wish that all people could live like this in such splendor.

None Left for Me

Joseph

This bottle of beer almost has the look of being "staged" but I do not beleive that Mott would sully his reputation leaving himself slightly ajar forever with a false photograph.

The Camp

Joseph

This photograph has the very typical look of young traveling Europeans and the way that they camp out all across Europe.

You should see all the young male and female Germans that hang out at the Hauptbahnhof ( Main Train Stations ) all across Germany. Most of them look to be between the ages of 20 thru 28 years old. The clothing that they wear is a cross between the 1970's Punk - Rock style that was worn in London and the Gothic style that was worn in Germany and throughout the United States in the late 1980's and into the 1990's. They usually sit around on the concrete floor of the train stations in large groups and they almost always have at least one dog and sometimes two dogs with them. Every so often the male Germans like to carry white rats with them. And of course there is almost always a musical instrument close by. Usually it is guitar. The German Polizie ( Police ) talk to them but as long as they are not bothering anyone the German Police just walk on.

I do not know what the name of this style is called.

A Soldiers Day

Joseph

Based on the time frame: { 6 H. 15. } the Soldier on the right looks like he might be shaving. But what does not add up is the fact the this Soldier is wearing his beret. To the best of my knowledge, a Soldier would never wear any of his military clothing while shaving ( Well maybe his Army pants or maybe not ) because he would not want to get shaving cream on his uniform, especially his beret. He would fail his morning inspection.

At the Bar

Joseph

This drawing definitely has the look of World War II about it. The Soldier sitting to the right of the girl in the red top is surely lecherous.
The Soldier sitting to the right of the girl wearing the blue polka dot dress has the old "G,I. Blues" syndrome. The bartender has eyes that are sunken inwards with absolutely no expression on his face what - so - ever.

Is there a signiture and a date of the drawing ?

Fireplace

I do have to admit that I am somewhat disappointed with the fireplace. I thought that it would be much larger and more ancient looking in it's design and structure.
