i agree with the lot. love the hallway, with the addition of the door in front. you open the door... *creeeeeeak!!*, and look down a long hallway leading to a brick wall with another mysterious door. and yes, the colors are top notch here. one of my favorite photos thus far.

there sits the clock at Metropolitan State, resembling a big ben of sorts (or maybe so the patients might have thought at one time), now it sits, the hands rigid with the years, cobwebs gathering, time put to an eternal stand still.

this is the hospital where the movie "Session 9" was filmed. Actor David Curuso described the facility as "probably the scariest building in the world".

This park looks so unbelievable! It's quite odd that a whole large amusement park such as this would be left completely vacant. Such a large area of land. And this ride looks like many a ride I've seen at various carnivals. I wouldn't imagine it's to sturdy anymore after 10 years of laying dormant.

I'm not offended, I was just answering someone's question. I understand. It is quite a harsh and uncalled for peice of literature, it's too bad people go in these places just to write ignorant things such as that. But anyways, I love the photos, I'm thinking about going back here soon. Is there asbestos inside though? That's a health hazard. I've seen photos where people were wearing gas masks inside. Did you wear a gas mask, Motts?

what is that thing on the bottom right of the door? it looks a cross on the outside of the building.

my friend and i went in there once, he always tries to get me to go back, i don't care to be arrested though. anyway, he said once when he was in there that some weird stuff happened. he felt something scratch him and it wasn't his friends. he also found some slips of old patients laying around and took them out and showed them to me. fucking weird, one this i noticed on the slips was a category called "occult blood". what the hell is that? freaky...
