In 1936 and 1937 my brother James, 7, and myself lived in New York City. Those two summers we went upstate at a boys camp, Camp Bluefields where the sadistic adult counselors repeatedly forced us into those tunnels for the entire length of the structure. Naturally, all the kids were in hysteria as we immersed into daylight. Talk about child abuse!
