Hello. I was a patiant here in 1952. That "hole" wa a fire escape that lead to a tunnel bellow the basement which lead to a staircase. Follow the staircase and you'll find a fire escape/poll.

I think they were used to look down and watch the little insano's while they ate lunch.

You can't get into the hospital. It's illegal and gaurded around the clock. Security goes around once every hour, so if your lucky you can sneak in!!
