the first time i was there i walked right through there and didn't notice that until i was outside the building and said "i'm glad we didn't walk through that part, oh, wait..."

Seclusion Room Door

J.R.

I'm surprised to see a wooden seclusion door. Most of the doors I have seen have been made out of steel and have plexiglas
covered with mesh window. Sorry if that last part sounds strange, I'm tired I guess.

Seclusion View

I love the way the light casts shadows on the wall and gives it a blue hue. The perspective from inside is supurb and makes one feel that they are inside looking out. I have felt that many times btw.

Seclusion Ward

Interesting framing. The light makes things look okay. I'm guessing that the round object outside the doors are/were a smoke detector of some kind (?)

I normally don't like door pics but this one is different somehow. I don't know why but it just is

I noticed that too. A really interesting shot.
Glad to see there is no spraypainted crap
everywhere like their are in some of the buildings I've seen. Thanks again Motts.

I'd like to echo what Max said. I was in the very same situation after a traumatic event.
Anyways a great shot as always Mr. Motts

Isolation

J.R.

Interesting. On a side note the walls of my new condo are painted canary yellow. Wonder if that says something about me?
Oh well, once again an amazing photo by our favorite explorer.

Seclusion Room #3

J.R.

While I was never in a seclusion room I do know people who have. BTW this is a very interesting shot. Particularly the way the paint peels to reveal a different paint scheme underneath.

Looks like tons of salt on the floor.

Unique shot. Lovely bannister. Though I would get tired from walking up and down all those steps. LOL

Amazing shot. Probably was just room 6 and someone just put the two other sixes there for a joke.

Nice shot. Looks like a shoe or a really big bug stuck to the cieling.

Evil

Cool. I really like the way the light shines thru the tattered curtains. I would imagine that the lightning does give it a spooky effect.

Black Hole

J.R.

Neat how you can see a part of the stairs and the bannister thru the hole.

Isolation

J.R.

The door seems wooden. In xxxxhospital I was at the isolation doors were all made of heavy steel and coated with faux wood to make it look all nice and pretty. The observation window also had a mesh screen infront of thick plexiglass. Still, this is a really interesting shot.

Hall

J.R.

I like the fact that it looks like there is a giant moth on the ceiling. Also interesting that the hall is devoid of vandleism. I hope it stays that way.

Announcements

Nice shot. We had one of those boards on the wall when I was at_____hospital. The staff would put up little decorations during the holidays and stuff like that. A lot of these pictures bring back memories both good and bad. Thank you Mr. Motts for the photos and thank you for posting them.
