I absolutely love how this photo recaptures the structure- and how through this shot's eyes, the structure could very easily be in the early stages of in tact abandonment. the contrast of this photo to the other true "ruins shots" is fabulous.

the "trinity" of paintings ascending in to the light, combined with the circle of paintings wearing away at the top give me the impression of a wasting away sistine chapel- very interesting mood/conviction for a penitentiary. lovely shot.
