Arson... What's the point? I read a story in a national newspaper last year, that told of an arson attempt at a disused industrial building - resulting in the seemingly accidental blazing death of the perpetrators. I laughed.

If indeed, there's any symbology behind this, then it's very sinister image. ie: What could the pit symbolize? Submission to evils such as suicide? Self harm? I dunno, maybe I'm reading too much into it, but if the patients were as disturbed as is to be believed, then.....

That's pretty poignant.

Sorry man, I know I'm getting carried away with these comments - but this shot is pretty f***ing tremendous also. Yeah. Autumnal colours, cobalt sky, whispy clouds, menacing perspective of buildings facade. Come on.

There are, I guess, varying degrees of dereliction, based on many qualities, but principally - how untouched the environment is, and how much time has passed. With that in mind, this shot looks f***ing great!

Beautiful 'otherworldly' quality to this shot. The foreground really draws your attention.
