Why would a TB hospital have mouth gags? They normally wouldn't do ECT on a TB pt. It was/is used for people with depression. Yes it is still in use today but in a much more humane way.

Both of my parents grew up during the depression and actually had "ice boxes" in their homes. Even though I grew up with modern refrigeration, I still called the refrigerator and ice box because thats what my parents always called it.
