Far End

Dylan

The blacked-out door and window seem very, very out-of-place to me.

Fire extinguisher fail.

Tetanus.

Pulled

Dylan

Were these wires were intentionally cut for reasons other than vandalism? Safety reasons, for example?

Monolith

Dylan

If it were not for all of the vegetation, it almost looks as if it is still occupied.

Chimney

Dylan

It has caught fire at least once, as Motts mentioned in the "history blurb" of the location.

Mezzanine

Dylan

What is that box on the left-hand side? The one that is attached to that pillar/column.

Old and New

Dylan

Beautiful photo, but how depressing: A retirement home that is located next to the shell of an abandoned church.

Relax

Dylan

Now, for a meaningful contribution: I assume all the crap all over the floor is from the fire?

Relax

Dylan

First.

Wire

Dylan

Apparently ineffective, seeing as how you were able to get inside anyways.

Passages

Dylan

Is that a row of operating fluorescent lights at the top of photo, or just natural light seeping through?

Destroy

Dylan

Do you mean that those supports may have just been left out there in the open for the remainder of the time that the station was in operation?

Chamber

Dylan

Reminds me of Penn Station in Baltimore.

Flyer

Dylan

Offensive, but admittedly humorous.

Teacup Ride

I looked at this gallery a LOOONG time ago, and then forgot about it. I recently moved very close to The Enchanted Forest --- I walk by it a few times a week --- and have always wondered what it would be like to go down there. There's really nothing physically stopping me --- nor others --- from entering; just two chain-link fences that could easily be jumped. However, now I won't get arrested for illegal trespassing.

Monkey Cage

Dylan

Okay... Indie film fail. They vandalized the building AND left their crap there? WTF

Mailboxes

Dylan

Since the resort was never completed, I doubt that there would be any parcels or letters in there. At least not any that weren't put there after it was abandoned, in hopes that some other urban explorer would find it.

Beginning

Dylan

It reminds of Stephen King's short story "The House on Maple Street".

Work Stations

Dylan

Eh, I'd say they're a little too "open" to be cubicles. Regardless, it still looks like a depressing place to have worked.

Little Grasshopper

Dylan

I think this is the best work of art in the building that I've seen thus far.

Dylan

"Irish-Catholics are easy to spook."

I LOL'd.

Apach

Dylan

Bloody amazing! It looks like something out of the "Alien" film series, of which I've admittedly only seen one film.

Sets

Dylan

@Rekrats:
Sorry to say it, but I think that it's just you.

@the photograph:
This is an awesome example of graffiti. Too bad it had to be painted on a wall. Then again, if it hadn't been, I guess it would not be graffiti!

Yellow Rails

Dylan

This photograph reminds me of the film "The Mangler" --- Horrible film, but a pretty good short story.
