Some big names were on that stage over the years. I cant believe how deteriorated it has become since I was last in that room. So sad.

That is the original carpeting, or at least as old as the early 60\'s.

Oh yes, there are the planters. The hanging lamps were removed in the mid-1990's. This pool really was gorgeous in its day.

Oh man, I used to swim in that pool as a kid..... in 1977 and again in 1982! It was such an elegant indoor pool back then with swanky futuristic (50's) hanging lamps, chaise lounges, and little tables with ashtrays everywhere... yes, you could smoke by the pool in those days! There were built in planters on the walls with lots of live foliage. The water return in the pool featured jets shooting across the pool from either side. It is hard to look at like this. It is even harder to imagine how nice it used to be if you only see it now!
