Made me jump this picture, wasn't expecting to see person in it!

*why am I so jumpy tonight? Perhaps its cos I just watched House on Haunted Hill and now I'm on here!*

Ambience

BritChick

The dark entrance to the room right in front gives me the creeps for some odd reason!

I just got a major fright looking at this picture as I forgot my computer sound was on and one of those "error message" windows popped up with that annoying sound!

Broken Shadows

BritChick

I love this picture, it's suitably creepy, I'd love to be able to go beyond those doors and into the darkness.

I took an amateurish picture on my phone a few months ago of a pair of doors in my local hospital, just through the grubby plastic windows in these doors you could see sterile whiteness, think it might have been a morgue!

Weeping Walls

Ace picture! I'd love that effect in my room, maybe not with those colours though! Something a bit more cheery, like red on pink!

OMG! My aunt and uncle live in Great Barr, this being my aunt and uncle who are always inviting me and my girlfriend to stay over! Next time I'm there I SO have to check this place out!

Yay!

Urm, no idea where you are planning to go in Engerland, but if you find yourself in South East London, there's a great photo-worthy place in a town called Coulsdon. The place is called Cane Hill Asylum.

It is my wet dream to visit an abandoned theatre.

But I wouldn't go without somebody like Motts (or Motts himself) to take the pictures.

Motts, you still need to get to the UK fella!

Blue

BritChick

I love this picture

It looks like it should be a conservatory extension of a house, not part of a hospital. Make it a wallpaper?! :-D

I thought his name was Sid?

*self confessed Disney tripper!*

Absolutely stunning picture. My fave of this collection

Painted Boards

BritChick

See in this shot, the exterior reminds me of the house in De Niro film, Hide and Seek

Approaching Dawn

"almost looks like someone standing on the roof"

Jeepers, creepers
Where'd you get those peepers!

And that is all I am gonna say! ;-)

House

BritChick

Not even for a million squid would I even tread in the vicinity of that house! Total creepy! Scares me loads more than the pictures of the abandoned mental asylum.

Makes me think of the house in Scream for some reason, where Sydney is running outside the hose and Dewey gets stabbed in the back

*shudder* (at the house, not the film!)

I like the blurry effect of Drie

Looks like was wearing a red apron of some kind, making him look almost demon barber like! Sweeney Todd style!

Bathroom

BritChick

It reminds me of a showroom bathroom

It's creepily clean!

Location: The Pines Hotel  Gallery: Trip with Drie

Kitchen

BritChick

Definitely reminds me of The Shining too. Not seen that film in years, must buy it!

If I hadn't failed GCSE Chemistry and the like, I would have loved to work in a morgue... alas, it's never going to happen :-(

Die In Hell

BritChick

"It's kind of like those horror movies where the main character (girl) is walking down a long hall trying to get to the end of the hall to the open door..."

I played a computer game a bit like that some time ago, I got caught by the ghost thing, that was some kind of scary!

Feet

BritChick

This reminds me of that scene in House on Haunted Hill where the blonde woman goes down into the basement with her video camera and the footage of the doctors doing surgery comes up on the screen but they are not actually there

Although they weren't shrouded by any kind of curtain, it gives off the same effect to me. As if you were seeing the above pic through the camera lens, but if you were to put the camera down, the room would be empy and the curtain wouldn't be there!

Freaky stuff!

Struggle

BritChick

As I said previously, these pictures gave me a rather interesting sensation! *blushes*

I blame my partner, they are the one who got me into all "that" kind of stuff!

BTW- Where is the face?

BritChick

I can't comment, I'm just seriously morbid! But... my inner freak was rather intrigued by that machine! :-O

I want that as the door to my room! Although the mesh would have to be replaced with frosted glass for privacy like!

Cramped

BritChick

No jokes, but that room is just a tiny bit smaller than my bedroom! I live in a box (not literally!) compared to the rest of the rooms in my house!

Prob one of my fave bits of that movie, Californiachicky!
