LONELY CHAIR!

looks as though the room was once green under that yellow paint

There seems to be a rised platform at one end, making it either one of three things, An operation room, a theater if some sort, or some kind of recreational room

Perhaps this was a workers break room, where they could smoke or eat and enjoy the air and not erritate patients, or a workers entrance entrance

I am suprised that nobody has really commented on how new and intact this hallway is, it feels as though a nurse or patient could walk out of anyone of those rooms on a second. I also wounder at what the small door on the left side of the hall was used for

Seeing as how the black brick trim suddenly stops at one side and reappears through the partually made hole, i want to say that the wall was constructed over a door-eather leading to some kind of room or another ward

I looks as thought that door has been boarded up for a while seeing the cleaner flowered wall paper on the lower boards that doesn't match the 'newer' peeling paper, though bits of the older flowered paper can be seen coming through the paper by the window

i wonder if that is a family crest above the topmost window

I don't know, i knew i kid from germany who loved the Hakenkreutz, and once had a standard WWII nazi pistol, he once got pulled over in germany for wearing a Hakenkreutz necklace, and the police went to go serch his house for more Nazi articles, which his room was filled with, he had to pack them away and burry them under a tree some where to retreive in the future

actually the resterant and brewery gives tours to guest and that left over stuff is part of the tour

At least the resterant and brewery part of the ruins are helping to maintain the old unused parts so they don't just colapse

In the bottom middle window, in the middle bottom pane (the only one not boarded up) there looks to be a person in a white shirt standing there....creepy. Motts it looks as though an old patient is watching you

I would want to say the platform is for surgeries or to exame corpses in a lab. It couldn't be a shower do to the lack of holes for shower heads and knobs, and there is electrical boxes and items on the wall and ceiling. The bench like things along the back wall could have once held tools. Or this could very well have been a theropy room, the window letting in natural light and the electrical equipment lending power to theropy appliances the platform would be used to hold equipement and other theropy items

I dont think the blaze was in this room so much as the one above

This place was onced used as a military training camp, which would explain Shadowdancer's thoughts

i agree with SmarterPrimate, so i am going to guess that the table might be for a movie projector or small electric generator

The way the eyes are slanted and green with slit pupils makes it look completely evil, but if you cover the eyes up with your fingers or thumbs the doll looks adorable...lol

looks like there is a refridgerator under all that to the right

This ward actually looks pretty well preserved

Life out side a dreery room

My aunt was dememed mentally insane after a run in with drugs in high school (she got the mental illness form her father). My grandmother put her in an asylum and after awhile OKed her to recieve EST. She isn't institutionalized anymore and lives a near normal life, complete with a job and a spoiled cat ^^. She does make the most delusious cookies though.
