andrea i don't know if this might be useful but "ite" is Latin for "you go", meaning the 2nd plural person. for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ite_missa_est and "sol" is Latin (as well as other languages such as spanish, portuguese, germanic languages and others) for "sun".
