AmandaB We had that Santa pillow in my family! I'm pretty sure it was of pre-printed fabric and my mom sewed it together and stuffed it with fill, sometime in the eighties. It got put out with the other holiday decorations every year... heck, we probably still have it in my parents' basement somewhere.

My grandparents were from Michigan and lived in Detroit at one point, right around when this was being built. Now I wonder if they had ever walked through it too...
