i made a similar comment re:the runway in the prev pic.but dont you think if it was installed for removal of props and equipment, that perhaps it would be in a better state than the stage?i do realise it was probably only installed temporarily for removal, but being installed more recently, one would think it would be in better shape...

unless looters took the planking away...but then why would they not touch the pews...i dont know, just throwing it out there. = )

yes,deffinately an autopsy table.

theres a place in Sydney called The Quarantine Station.original,i know, but that is wahat it was.it opened in the 1800's and only closed in the 1980's if memory serves me correct...

anyhow, this site is huge and in great condition!they do several ghost tours a week and the morgue is way creepy.still has all the old apparatus' in great condition, hence they have he same type of slab, with grooves for the blood to floe freely and be drained (and cleaned!) easily.

if you are ever in sydney,i recommend the visit!maybe Mr.Motts can come take some pics for everyone....lol ; p

agreed, that red splatter is very unnerving! but if you look closely at the pic from 1992,there appears to be a red substance on the left side of the rim of the sink!!not to mention the "pillow"...

i only found this awesome site yesterday, and was at first randomly scrolling through different albums, and i just assumed the soap dispenser joke came from the "County Morgue" gallery (green room with long needle-like instrument on table).boy, how was i wrong!lol

am glad i am now fully informed!but i also agree, should be linked on the homepage.haha

oh,and i dont know about the US,but Australian safety standards say that any fitting (power point/socket, lights, electric soap dispensers..lol = p ) must be at least 600mm away from any water source.learnt that while studying electronics.but i guess that "light" could be fitted above the mirror and still look sweet.....
